Discover NDSU | Music Day
October 17 & 18, 2024
Attention high school juniors and seniors!
The Challey School of Music invites high school juniors and seniors to attend Music Day! Learn about ensembles, hear from alumni, meet with faculty and students, learn about scholarships, financial aid, and how to prepare for auditions.
During your visit you would:
- Shadow a music student and attend classes with them. We would like you to be at NDSU by 8:30 a.m. to check in and meet students and faculty.
- Observe lessons and classes.
- Learn about performance opportunities in choirs, opera and musical theatre.
- Be our guest for lunch and afterwards, attend either our Concert Choir, Wind Symphony and Jazz Band rehearsal.
- After the rehearsal, there would be a Q & A session including information about music-major scholarships and auditions.
- The final events would include a short recital of our current students and an optional campus tour that would begin at 3 p.m.
