Since completing her M.F.A. at Purdue University, Tiffany Fier has worked extensively as a professional set designer, scenic artist, and props artisan for several theatres throughout the Midwest. She has created set designs for Children’s Theatre of Madison, First Stage in Milwaukee, Iowa State University, Opera for the Young, Arrowrock Lyceum Theatre, Alley Stage in Mineral Point, Wisconsin, and Phipps Center for the Arts.
As a scenic artist she has been the scenic charge for American Players Theatre since 2008, one of the largest outdoor theatre companies in the United States and the Wall Street Journal’s 2011 “Company of the Year.” she was previously charge artist for Children’s Theatre of Madison for three years and has worked as a scenic artist for Forward Theatre, University of Iowa, the former Madison Repertory Theatre, and Madison Opera. As a props artisan she also worked for American Players Theatre, the former Madison Repertory Theatre, Children’s Theatre of Madison, and University of Iowa Opera.
Tiffany is a member of the board of the Northern Boundary Section of USITT.
